Liverpool Football Club Head Goalkeeper Coach John Achterberg teams up with the Florida based ZEE Goalkeeper Academy.

Exciting news for goalkeepers living in Florida. The Southeast US based Zee Goalkeeper Academy established in 2016 and works with hundreds of goalkeepers age 10 to 19, has managed to bring to their June 2024 goalkeeper camp Liverpool FC goalkeeper coach John Achterberg.

This one-of-a-kind partnership between the ZEE Goalkeeper Academy LLC and John Achterberg is specifically for the June 10-11-12 2024 goalkeeper camp that will take place at Southwinds Soccer Complex in Port Orange, Florida.

During the three day event, John will rotate at every training station working with the goalkeepers, John will also pull to the side keepers and work with them on a specific topic. John will also interact with the keeper mom’s and dad’s present with a 30 minute Question and Answer meeting.

John earlier this week stated that he can’t wait to travel to Florida and work the 3 day event. Obviously the ZEE Goalkeeper Academy LLC administration is also super happy to host a goalkeeper camp with the best Goalkeeper Coach in the Barklays Premier League.

Born in 1971 John Atchterber has been in charge of the first team goalkeeper program at Liverpool Football Club since 2011 and during this 12 year period he has won it all: A Premier League, FA Cup, 2 League Cups, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup. Achterberg has also racked up 2 FIFA goalkeeper of the year awards in both 2019 and 2020.
