Cricket coaching is one of the key factors that must be considered while a team is training to perform well in their upcoming cricket matches. In modern-day cricket, coaches need to analyze the match not by entire match but at every ball so that players can improve their performance and perform at the big tournaments. A batsman needs to understand his mistakes from previous matches but techniques to improve those mistakes can be told by the batting coach. If there is scope for improvement in bowling then the bowling coach will be responsible for teaching them a few techniques.

- Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket
Upul Chandika Hathurusingha is currently the head coach of Bangladesh Cricket. Previously, he used to coach Sri Lankan players as he was also a former player of Sri Lanka. From 1991 to 1999, he played for Sri Lanka as an all-rounder and then retired from cricket. After that Hathurusingha coached multiple cricket associations like UAE, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, he also coached one team in Australian domestic cricket. In 2023, he was again appointed as the head coach of the Bangladesh Cricket team.
- Assistant Coach
Nic Pothas is currently the assistant coach of the Bangladesh Cricket team who was a player for South Africa. He used to be a good cricketer of his time and it can be verified from his records as he played more than 200 international matches for his country and has taken 500 catches. He was one of the best fielders of that time and while batting he had an average of 40. Pothas was a right-handed batsman with wicket-keeping skills and he used to be the wicketkeeper of South Africa.
- Spin Bowling Coach
Rangana Herath is currently the spin bowling coach of the Bangladesh Cricket team he used to play for Sri Lanka and even was the captain of the Sri Lanka test team. He has one of the best bowling figures in test cricket as he was a left-arm spinner who has 443 wickets. After Muttiah Muralitharan and Chaminda Vass, he was the third Sri Lankan to take more than 300 wickets in the history of Test cricket.
- Fast Bowling Coach
Allan Anthony Donald is currently the fast-bowling coach of the Bangladesh Cricket team who played cricket for South Africa. He was one of the best pacers in South Africa and in 1998 he was first ranked in the ICC test ranking.
